PaperKnife+ Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 18, 2026

PaperKnife+ is built around a simple principle: your files stay on your device, period.

Data Collection

PaperKnife+ does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, usage data, or user information of any kind.

No Internet Access

PaperKnife+ does not declare the INTERNET permission in its Android manifest. The app has no ability to connect to any network or server. Every operation happens entirely on your device.

Local Files Only

All PDF operations — merging, splitting, compressing, encrypting, watermarking, and signing — happen locally on your device using the PDFBox-Android library. The files you process never leave your phone or tablet.

Permissions Used

PaperKnife+ requests only the permissions necessary to read and write PDF files you explicitly select:

Analytics & Tracking

PaperKnife+ contains no analytics SDKs, no crash reporting services, no advertising networks, and no third-party trackers. There is nothing to opt out of because nothing is collected.

Children's Privacy

PaperKnife+ does not target children and does not knowingly collect any data from users of any age.
